Wood-ni takes part in 2010 Student Awards
National wood awards for 3rd level students of architecture, engineering and design
In 2006, the Wood Marketing Federation (WMF, in partnership with wood-ni launched the Student Wood Awards. The awards are open to final year students who incorporate wood as an inherent element in their projects.
Total prize fund is €20,000. Category winners will receive €2,000 along with national certificates acknowledging their achievement. Their colleges will also receive €2,000 while college award winners will receive a certificate and prize of €200
The Student Wood Awards are divided into the following categories:
•Timber and engineering in construction
•Architecture
•Innovative use of timber in design
